I have had a couple of these machines with strange faults,
the first one would fill on spin & not cancell the other
would fill & do 2 short turns then stop,no spin/pump, but pump was ok on its own.
you could cancell but would not start another program without unpluging the machine first. I checked connections heater motor
& for earth faults ect both boards were sent to EMW & came back
no fault found, both boards have been re-fitted & machines working fine In future do i disconnect the boards put them in the van for 2 days then refit? or is EMW doing something when they test them.
The boards are the arcadia type that have 2 small boards soldered on.

When I worked for Inde we often found on the ” Economy range ” appliances the edge connectors were crap and readily oxidised take the board out give the edge connectors a wee light rub with emery cloth or paper and refit on lots of occasions this solved random and unexplained PCB behaviour.
lol ” economy range ” was what they called them the ones with the green print panel, personally I’d call them pure junk. As bad as many inde appliances were this was one of the few which, when the soap box seams or the breather leaked squirted water onto the console pcb and set the damn things on fire..
