ParticipantHello
I found some articles mentioning fault codes for Indesit washing machines, but they do not say which precisely LEDs blinking to see at. The user manual is no help but for the service one Internet cites demand 45 Euro.
Can someone tell me which LEDs blinkings to count for a fault, thank you.April 17, 2014 at 3:49 pm #412538Martin

I love surprises Don. I’m guessing Yuri isn’t in Lithuania, I’m thinking more south east of there….hmm?……..O.K….. Israel? (My fingers are crossed) 😉

For our Latvian friend, THESE are the codes for your machine. Difficult to show clearly with that example but you use the five, lowest VERTICAL lights on the right for error codes, counting from bottom to top. Ignore any of the horizontal flashing lights.

Thank you very much !
The machine is not mine, just someone called me asking about his one. I refused, as I do not have experience with washing machines. My speciality is all sorts of indoor climate control equipment, but as competition is extremely high where I live, I better start looking in other directions – not to kick the bucket, so to say, rudely.
But why what you so generously directed me to is called “one of the less common sets of fault codes” ? I still do not have the “more common” ones. Can you please, direct me to those also ?April 18, 2014 at 8:08 am #412543iadom

It is a little confusing but those are the only error codes for the machine you have.
There are several different types of error codes used on Indesit made machines, some use a different set of lights, some a single flashing light, some even have a digital display to show the error code.
The ones you have are the most recent type and as such are not yet as common as the earlier types of error codes.
If you follow THIS link you will see that there are at least 14 different sets of error codes for Hotpoint/Indesit machines.

Thank you very much ! It is an Eldorado in comparison to what I had found after several hours of Internet search !
“… there are at least 14 different sets of error codes for Hotpoint/Indesit machines.” No wonder.Which type(s) of NTC probes they use on the Hotpoints/Indesits ? “Standard” ones of what resistance ?

The ntc’s used vary in shape, size and rating, many different ones used across the whole range.
