Indesit IWDC6125 dryer question

I’m getting F15 dryer relay fault on this machine. Found o/c dryer element but fault code comes up on any programme. Does it sense element even when not in use or is it a module fault as well ?

very possibly element. you should have put something across the element wires to check. Have often wired the element wires to the fan motor so machine can be used

Yes, i did think of that, After i had left. Seems unlucky if she had two faults but we all know it can happen.

Returned with new element which sorted problem but found the dryer fan had melted badly. Have ordered a replacement ( which is metal i believe ) but wondered if this is a common problem.
