ParticipantHi I have an Indesit IWDC6125. Up to now the machine seems to work right through to the end of the cycle, it fills with water, spins and drains. Then as it reaches the end of the cycle it completely stops and the 4 Option button lights at the top flash green on/off, as well as the Start/Pause indicator light which flashes orange on/off, and the ‘Drying’ and ‘End of Cycle’ indicator lights on the right hand side remain solid green.
In the past, if I hit start again, it goes through the entire cycle once more and usually doesn’t give the same error again and completes. In the past two days, I haven’t been able to get the flashing lights to stop, nor can I open the door. I have had to turn the machine off at the plug overnight. There is something obviously wrong. It stops pretty much all cycles at this point with the same flashing lights. I tried to follow the error fault codes but not sure if its the flashing lights at the top, or the solid lights on the indicator lights which I should be following. Any advice would be greatly appreciate as to how to fix because at the moment I can’t get it to stop at all.
Apologies for no photo, no luck trying to upload due to quota on file size so have tried to describe as best as possible.
Thanks.

ParticipantHi Dave,
Thanks for getting back to me. The options on my washer-dryer are a little different to that shown in the diagram above. I found a picture of it in a link online which shows what my washing machine looks like (see attached: https://f01.justanswer.com/EI4EWxkI/image.jpg ). This link is purely for illustrating what my machine model looks like but not actually my machine.
Looking at the photo in this link above, the ‘End’ light (second from bottom) and the ‘Drying’ light (third from bottom) are both lit solid green. No other lights on the right are lit. The 5 lights at the top are all flashing on/off at the same time.
Thanks

ParticipantDave,
Thanks for the advice. Is this something anyone could do, or would you recommend hiring a qualified technician to check? I’m keen to understand if this is something I can check/fix myself (coming from someone with no experience in this field).
Cheers,

Moderatorwell could be a door lock problem
did one today where the lock wiring had burnt out so you need to take the lid off and look at the wiring to the lock to see if its burnt or damaged
