    Hi all

This machine currently has me stumped, the symptoms are that it will work perfectly till it comes to drain at which point it will drain for 5 seconds and then stop with the top row of lights flashing, while draining it also decides to put 130V onto the drying element.

Have checked continuity and insulation of all other components I concluded that it had to be the PCB which I sent to EMW and received it back with a repair charge on it, unfortunately the fault remains.

I have double checked the connections to all the other components in the machine from the PCB end of the loom, checked for any blockages in the level system and tried swapping the NTCs for a test one.

    Insulation test – >500M Ohm
Zs (Earth Loop) – 0.17 Ohm

Previous history – The machine has had a new door lock and motor fitted in Feb this year by me (old door lock connections burnt out and the motor failed insulation test).

Any ideas? I have already suggested find a large metal container about 4 foot by 6 foot and putting it in but the owner didn’t like the idea.

    Jem

Try changing the dryer NTC. There is a modified one. Seems to be most common problem with them.
