ParticipantI have a indesit IWDE12 washer dryer that has started to flash all the lights on it and won’t allow any functions.
Have checked the filter on the front and there was nothing in there.
Now all the function lights on the top row flash constantly but just the 9h light (bottom of 4 lights) in the column going down the panel.Anyone help with what it’s trying to tell me?
Thanks

If you mean the bottom light in the right hand vertical column (door lock0 light is on steady then it is trying to tell you that it is very poorly indeed.
Fault code F01.
Main PCB, Triac on board damaged or components.Feedback fault. It could just be broken wiring at the motor plug if you are very lucky.

Thanks!
Just to be clear I took a picture and highlighted the offending lights but all of them are flashing, none are solid.

That doesn’t look like recognised error code TBH, sadly I don’t have access to that exact models error codes but six lights flashing is not an error code on any Indesit machine AFAIK.

Thanks for your help.
Now I know it’s not something I can deal with myself.October 14, 2015 at 8:31 am #4308761totalshambles

If this is where all said lights flash really fast- 4x a second approx then isn`t this the printed circuit board fault bottom rear right hand side? From memory there`s a capacitor that fails, visually the silver base swells up in to a dome..this is what you`d be looking for in comparison to the several other cylindrical shaped caps on the board which`ll all have flat base. A cap is less than £1 from Maplins and so long as it is close to the original cap value it shouldn`t matter. Take note of the `-`sign as marked on the cap`s side so you solder the new one the right way round-this does matter. Power off/ unplugged of course, wait 15 mins to be on the safe side, then remove the board from the machine and mark and also draw on paper where the board wires go to save any confusion before taking the wires off.

From the two pictures shown this is not the classic capacitor failure.
