Indesit IWDE12 not working (LED (2h) constantly lit)

Hi, after pressing the Start/Reset button my Indesit washer-dryer IWDE 12 has all the LEDs off except the top LED to the left (labeled 2h). This LED stays constantly on. Is this an error code? What could be the reason? (I tried to unplug and waited for several minutes; I also tried to cancel the program by long-pressing the Start/Reset – nothing helped so far).

do not have the correct fault listing for this machine but a suspect its fault 8

remove plug then

find and disconnect wires to the wash heater. make sure they cant touch anything and switch on and see what happens

Sorry for my late reply.

I believe this is not an error code.
I first measured the wash heater, then did a few other measurements of the accessible parts… everything seemed to be ok.

I have finally solved the problem by replacing the brushes of the motor.

brushes make sense now i can see the panel

a lot of machines wont start if brushes are not making contact
