Participanthi i have a indesit iwde 126, after a full cycle it still has water in drum, even after a tumble dry, ive tryed all the obvious, but it seems if i remove the filter at the bottom while a spin is in process water keeps trickling out of it, the only way to stop it is to turn the water supply off at the feed, if i do that after the rinse cycle it spines and dryes fine and no water is left in the drum, is there a valve that causes it to leak?? typicaly its 4 weeks out of its years warrenty

wel there is only 2 things it can be
1 the valve
2 the boardif the valve had gone i would expect the machine to carry on filling even if it was turned off. so it would flood overnight ect
so with that in mind sounds like a board fault
try this
instead of turning off the feed to stop the water turn the whole machine off at the plug. if the valve is faulty it will continue to run in for a while. it should stop instantly. if it stops its a board problem possible a leaky traic (the electronic switch that controls the valve)

yep it must be the board, if you set it going on a cycle it starts adding water down what I would guess is the rinse pipe, if I disconnect the plug to that solenoid the water stops, is a board something I can buy and fit or is it something that needs fitting and programming???

Hi, I have exactly the same problem (100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d})!!! Initially I thought it was the valve and I changed it but it’s exactly as above: the machine fills water even when in drying mode so it has to be the PCB.
I have access to an old machine exactly the same for spare parts. Could you please let me know if I can remove the PCB and install it on mine?
Did you fix yours? (Thanks god I read this as I was about to buy a new one)Thanks in advance

could also be a
1 blockage stopping water draining quick enough
2 pump some pumps have a safety stat that trips if they get too hot. so pump will run for a while then stopDave

Thanks. In my case all the time the washing machine is “doing something” it is filling water slowly. At the end of the program you can hear a “buzz sound” and the water is filling in. Same thing goes with spinning or drying program: there is water filling in slowly. As a workaround I also do like the original poster (closing the water inlet) just before the spinning step. I have changed the valves and the pump switch and the front panel with no joy. Tonight I will try
with the PCB but I’m scared not to be able to wire it again properly. It can only be the PCB right?
Thanks!September 9, 2015 at 1:04 pm #429627electrofix

very likely possibly a blown triac on the board that feeds the valve. the wiring is sraight forward as connectors normally dont go in the wrong place but take a quick picture as a ref

Hi I have same problem my washing machine. It is filling with water slowly constantly soon I switch the washing machine on. At the end of the program you can hear a “buzz sound” and the water is filling in.After the door lock goes off the buzzing noise stops and water stop goingi in. Same thing goes with spinning or drying program: there is water filling in slowly. As a workaround I have to close the water inlet just before the spinning step to get the clothes out dry. I have checked the pressure switch by blowing in and I can hear click sound. I have changed Pcb and the fault is still there. Any ideas would be much appreciated. Thank you.

unless there is an earth fault on the machine (if you have an rcd in your electric supply this would trip) the only thing it can be is the pcb
which board did you change ?Dave
