ParticipantHi there,
I’m hoping someone can advise me on what the following issue could be caused by.
My Indesit IWDE126 once it has finished any wash programme refuses to unlock the door, after around 5-10 minutes after the programme has ended it displays the F06 fault code (Programme Selector Management Error) and what sounds like the drain pump continuously running. The only way to get the door open is to turn off at wall power back on and pull at door (sometimes takes several attempts / programme changes).
Should I be looking at changing the PCB which some Google searches indicate or is it a door interlock issue? Or maybe something completely different.
Appreciate any advice & help
Many thanks,

Where did you glean that snippet of information from.????
F06.
– Check for water leaks that may affect connectors on the pcb causing the relative contacts to short;
– Check door lock wiring;
– Check door lock;
– Renew PCB.PS. If you intend to change the pcb then you will need the pcb at around £100, a £20 smart card to program the pcb and a £100 smart card reader to use the card to program the pcb.

Thanks for the reply – guessing that error code description I provided was a load of crap?! Found a couple of references to it on searches on the web, however took it with a pinch of salt.
Didn’t realise the PCB would nee programming, can’t see any leaks onto PCB so will check door wiring next – Thanks very much for your advice.

did the interlock sort the problem?
When you say the f6 error code.
Was the door lock light and the spin reduce speed lights flashing? -
