I have a indesit IWDE126 washer/dryer.
It is aprox 2years old.
Recently the machine dash has started to flash.
I’ve turned it off and on.
Unplugged overnight.
And manually drained and removed debris.
The machine will occasionally work, although the door never opens at the end of a program.
Normally after a few minutes of the cycle finishing the solid red lock light will begin to flash to indicate the door can be opened.
The light now always stays solid.
Also the machine will sometimes stop the cycle and the door lock light will flash with the reduce spin speed light.
Any ideas to what this could be?March 19, 2014 at 11:42 pm #411362iadom

That error code is F01, motor triac ( main pcb faulty) 😥

is it normal for the machine to work on occasions?
I have since done one load and pushed on the door after cycle which made the light start to flash so I could open it.
The next wash was then fine.Regards

It’s an Indesit, nothing normal about them. :rolls:
It could be due to loose connections between the motor and the main pcb.

The main pcb is down at the bottom rear. Not much you can do to check the pcb itself but you can make sure all the wiring connectors are in place and tight.

Have you checked the motor brushes ? Often f01 can just be brushes.
Its not always the pcb, in fact if its intermittent it normally is not it. Also check door lock as these have become increasingly problematic
, burnt wires or just faulty.March 22, 2014 at 10:34 am #411368sm17hy

Had a look at pcb and looks ok. Dry and all connections secure.
still managing to use it. Only problem is having to manually unlock it through the top every time.
And with it being integrated, it is now half stuck out.
I’m considering buying a new interlock?
Would this solve the end of cycle auto release or is this more just for the door to open function and not the electrical unlock?Cheers

The door interlock is not that expensive so possibly worth giving it a go.

might try that then.
I have just had dryer on and it’s stopped half way through.
Different lights are now flashing.
Delay timer – green light,
Easy iron – green light,
1200 – 600 spin – green light
All at the same speed.
And the door lock – red light which is flashing about twice the speed of the green onesMarch 22, 2014 at 12:19 pm #411371iadom

Always best to give the lights by number from top to bottom or left to right , ignoring the door lock light.
Or look HERE

Sorry, cannot recommend any model of washer dryer, possibly a Miele but no others.
The Hotpoint one is actually an Indesit. :rolls:
