We have had a recent problem with our Indesit IWE81481 washing machine. A slug got in under the unit and into the PCB causing it to blow in several places

I have bought a replacement PCB and had it programmed by supplying the commercial code and the FW1 code. Upon refitting the PCB and switching the machine on the whole control panel on the front of the unit flashes for a second and then goes out before flashing again and this cycle continues. Pushing buttons and turning the dial does nothing

The machine has a display which ususally shows the time of the cycle. I believe if there is a F code fault it should be displayed here. There isn’t a F fault code being shown. All the symbols in the display flash and then go off before flashing again

Any ideas what I can try apart from sending the PCB back to be tested again? My only other idea would be changing the door locking mechanism in case this was damaged when the main PCB blew as I think at the time the machine had finished its cycle so the door would have still been locked

    Any help much appreciated

This cycle continues quicker than every second

Sent the PCB and the front panel module off to be tested and results came back that the front panel module is no good

I have now purchased a new front panel module and installed it

The machine now turns on and beeps but still does not work

The digital display is now stuck on 0:01. The On/Off button is not switching the machine on or off. The four buttons along the top are on solid now. The Start/Pause button is flashing

Any ideas what to try next?

    Scott
