indesit just keeps on running.

Went out to an indesit wie167. Works fine until the last spin, goes into spin o.k. through the spin, the clock counts down to 1 min, finishes the spin, starts the spin all over again and does this continuosly for ever and ever but the clock countdown remains at 1 min.
Any suggestions?

Had this fault in the past and it turned out to be the heater, rang indesit and was told that it goes through the heater during spin for some reason but anyway it solved the problem. Must admit at the time thought indesit had lost there mind but give it a go. 😀
