Indesit K6G52/G Grill working but oven not

Hi everyone,

Can someone help me please. I have a Indesit K6G52/G and the oven has stopped working. The fan spins but it doesnt heat up. The oven has two elements, one at the top for the grill and one at the bottom for the oven. The top grill element works fine but the bottom doesnt. I have changed the bottom element but it still wont work.

I connected a multimeter to the element terminals and I get 236v which seems fine but then I hear what sounds like an arcing noise from the temerature control knob, but no sparking and the voltage drops to 50mV. It then stays at 50mV and still arcs every now and then and the oven remains cold.

Has anyone got any ideas or can someone send me a service manual

Thanks Penguin45 for the reply. Something else I noticed is that the temp control knob when turning it on and off it flashes green which is normal but when the arcing noise is heard it flashes blue.

Where abouts is the oven therostat?

Ok, ive changed the thermostat and the oven element now but I can still hear that arcing noise and it doesnt get hot.

Any ideas?
