Indesit Moon Model Sixl 145 UK won’t extract water

My indesit moon starts the wash cycle but will not empty the water, it then stops and the red light starts flashing.

I assumed the extraction pump had gone so replaced it but unfortunately the same thing happens.

Any suggestions?

Something caught in the tub to pump hose or the pump to drain hose?

I checked the tub to pump hose and that was clear, I assumed that the pump to drain hose would not be blocked because anything big enough to block it would not get through the pump, I will remove the pump to drain hose and see if it’s blocked. If it isn’t have you any other ideas why it is not emptying?

Sink coupling if it shares the sink drain?
