have had to change the selector switch c00196053 which is slightly different from the original (an extra switch where the original had a gap ) all elements now working but customer says the cooling fan now not working. cant think why this would be so but anyone with a wiring diagram I would be grateful..calling back tomorrow.

get 7 models with similar numbers have you got commercial codes ?

Thanks panic over. I was right in my thinking, the cooling fan circuit doesnt connect to the selector switch it feeds directly from the mains terminal block.
turns out the blower motor was seizing. I always ask the customer at the start is there any other problems besides the one you called me for? It’s only after you carry out a repair that they take any notice,this fan must have been sluggish for weeks.
