I’ve just got a Indesit WIL123s in which required a new heater element. The connections on the heater were all melted. I changed the heater and thermostat then ran it on a 90 degree wash.
The machine heats up fine but stops when it reaches boiling point and continues to boil the water until i turn it off manually.
Any ideas what the problem could be ? PCB ?

    thanks

if its the heater with the thermistor possibly a bad connection at the thermistor or a broken wire.

Look for the two small blue wires for the thermistor on the drum… track them backwards and make sure they are not shorted to make a circuit.
