Indesit RI 860 C All radiants lacking heat

Hi Guys,

Called to the above ceramic hob. It seems that more than one radiant is lacking heat i.e. won’t make the fat in a frying pan hot enough.
Seems strange to me that more than one should go down at the same time.
When you first put it on the whole radiant glows, after a while the central element goes off ?
Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

as far as i can see this is simple controls

my best guess at this is wrong pans

if the pan cannot soak up the heat the ring overheat stat shuts it down

thanks Dave, the whole ring doesn’t shut down just the centre coils, but i will check and see if they’ve recently got new pans . thanks again.
