ParticipantI have got two of these with the same problem after a couple of mins drum rubs making a terrible niose, stripped down tryed packing with washers etc. but same problem (can’t seem to find were the drum rubs)
I have tried playing with the door & it seems that the door gets pulled in to tight by the door switch and buckles the frame of the machine, I can make it quieter by packing out the door.Any one had simillar problems or am I going MAD !!!

I just moved one and had to go back for it scraping. Went trapezoid on me not on flat surface. Apiece of wood under one of the legs sorted it.

I did notice that one off these TD had the back two feet missing, it may have buckled the frame, both off these machines have had little use & are under a year old.

It really is just a drum & shaft Bob, plus a huge template in case you need to refit the paddles on the sensor type.
Basically the same drum, just rounded off at the back. Less than £29.00 ex vat from Masterpart, that will be about £75.00 from Connect then. 😉

They must be making it up on the bearing tool kit then. 😆

I went to fit a new rear shaft on one of these and found it did not have the screw on shaft plate but a bigger plate that’s riveted on. I ended up drilling out the remains of the old shaft and enlarging the 3 small holes in the back of the drum to allow the screws some clearance to screw from the inside. Is this normal procedure on these or is there an easier way?

As you noticed the holes don’t quite line up if you try to replace the later shaft for the old, riveted one.
I use the exact same method as you. 8)
Four screws in all the ones I have done though.
Officially you are supposed to replace the whole drum. :rolls:
