Indesit TD87 MK2 Vented TD – serial 8902m 9904

😯 I’ve been out to an old Indesit TD87 MK2 Vented TD. Problem is no heat but drum action ok. Heater is in good condition with no breaks. It has what looks like 2 stats. One is an open bi-metal stat (control stat ??) and there looks like a second stat that look a bit like a resistor covered in heat proof material. (Safety stat ?) (looks very much like the thermal fuses used on the current Indesit Washer Dryers). No power to heater at all. I explained I thought it was the timer, then lady said the timer made a strange clicking sound and she set it the other day. (nice of her to tell me after I’ve had already stripped the thingdown)

Anyone got a wiring digramme or clues. I’m thinking the timer.

Also need a door hanle and outer door for same TD ..

If the bi-metal and thermal fuse are both OK, it can’t be anything else really looking at the diagram.

Timer – X378491 £25.65
Door catch kit – 1661323 £10.45
Outer door frame – obsolete 🙁
