I have a 10 year old Indest and 5 mins into the cycle it stops working and blows the main fuse safety switch.

I have changed it’s fuse (13 amp as fitted) and it makes no difference.

Should I just get a new machine (seeing at is quite a budget machine and 10 years old) or is it worth getting an engineer out?

Currently I have 2 inches of water – how do i get that out!!??

    Any help useful
    thanks

    Hi
Its possible the heater has become faulty. This can easily be checked with the appliance unplugged :plug: ; using a multimeter. Approx reading with feed wires detached should be 20-30 ohms.

To remove the water, replace fuse and turn to the beginning of a cycle and Im sure it will oblige.
