Just for the fellow engineers here, the model is IS60v, and from my limited knowledge, i’d check the start relay 😉

Could also be capacitor or motor fault, no heat may have been caused by one shot stat tripping out due to no motor action, have you tested the stats, elements & capacitor?

I would agree with Jim. The capacitors on these are giving problems

check the relay card behind the facia. if the relay isnt staying in the machine will be as you describe.

Yes I agree, could be either the relay card Pt.No. 1702778 about £14 or the 7.5mf capacitor Pt.No. 1702172 about £4. Hope this helps.
