another pain,

fault code f08 which corresponds to heater relay cannot be activated this machines starts to fill then does the usual click round with 8 flashes.

checked heater and connections send board off to emw and come back o.k the only think i havent checked is thermister also can hear good contact with brushes to comm.

and ideas much appreciated

Simon,
It may be worth physically changing the heater relay, as it can meter ok under test, but not under load. It may not have been changed as part of the repair process, although my dealings with EMW suggest that their quality control is normally exemplary.

Failing that, the usual continuity checks back to the board from the components etc.
