    Morning,

    my missus said our machine made a crackling noise behind the programme selecor switch and stopped working. When you select a programme nothing happens. No water fills , but the door does lock.
    I bought and fitted a new programme selector switch and a new potentiometer, but still nothing…..

    Any suggestions greatfully received.

    Motor brushes may be finished. Power off if you are going to look yourself. Or Repairs@ for an engineer.
