    Yesterday my Indesit W123 was doing the rotating dial thing so I switched it off. I have emptied the pump filter thing, there was quite a lot of water in there but nothing solid. Now when I switch it on the red light comes on constant and the door locks but that is it, nothing happens.
    Any advice would be gratefully received.

    u might want to check your carbon brushes

    theyre located on the motor, in black holders attatched to the motorcasing.. the brushes shoud be 1-2 inches in length
