Participanti went to this washer today , s/n 309041046 91268710002, constantly taking in water , the solenoids are always energised even when the m/c is turned off , select a program and start and it pumps out and fills at the same time , and when the pump stops it just keeps filling and filling , i saw the red led flash 2 times slowly and then 3 times quickly and then it just keeps flashing slowly just when it is turned on no program selected , i checked brushes and armature cleaned them and the ntc and heater element 63.4 ohms from element and 3.4 million ohms from ntc anyone have any diagnostic info thanks

Had same problem with a Bush washing machine this week.
can only be pcb i would think
EMW should sort you out with a refurbished board or slightly slower you can send your board in for test and repair.

they should have them in stock and will send you one for about £40
and if its not that you send it back for a handling charge of about £6,
if it works you send them the old board.
call them on 01159652118
its definately the pcb.February 11, 2011 at 7:56 pm #344426Allsorts

Trace the supply wires to the valve that is letting water in… See if it is being energised by a short.

they’re both energised , the wires are heading back down the r/h front past the door interlock, i see the control board down there near the base !

Filling all the time regardless of programme is a common PCB fault on this rubbish.
