Indesit W123 UK BG – 6 flash fault

Hi folks

Had a bit of an ongoing fault with this one – started as intermitant pump/spin prob and changed pump & pressure switch b4 xmas as always worked ok when I was there – cust could never understand how to count the flashes when fault occured! (thought she had to count the number of times the dial went round!!!!)..

Anyway call back today and fault on m/c flashin 6 times when got there – (Programme selector error) – Does this mean slave timer fault or pcb?

Tried several times after checking the pcb for dry or dodgey connections found m/c not start on fab con rinse – inpulsed round to spin despite resetting prog and several other prog would reset to rinse but no fault flashes would come up..

question – do I change pcb or slave timer for this fault?

Like error said, you have to check from beginning program selector which can be opened very easily and see if it’s dirty and also his connector from main module.
If all are OK but you still have that problem change memory (program from 93C86 is damaged).
More likely do you have first problem. 😉
