Indesit W123UK BG Program sticks on wash if temperature of 50deg or more is selected have tested temperature of water when heater switches off it was 55deg.

I guess it must be either the thermistor, element sensor, temperature potentiometer, or PCB, but which?
Anyone had this before or got a suggestion?
    Thanks for looking

What readings do you have off the NTC?

I think (but don’t quote me on this) Indy ones are about 20k to 25K at room temperature. But if it changes with temp. rise/fall then you can be pretty sure it’s OK. Connectors are unreliable.
What about a heater element that goes open circuit when it gets hot? Long shot, I know.

Check for dry joints on the module, fixed a good few with my trusty soldering iron.
