indesit w133s selector keeps turning

Can anyone help me here ? when i turn on the machine i get 13 flashes then the machine tries to start then the control selector keeps clicking round and round for approx 8 seconds then i get 3 flashes this goes on and on ?
does anyone know what this error code represents..
I have tried all of the pressure switches and the brushes on the motor are fine ?

would be most gratefull for some assistance here

According to the ‘Error Code’ list for your machine, there is no such error code of 13 flashes I’m afraid. Either you have mis-counted or you have some weird problem 😕

Check the obvious (i.e Pump blockages, open circuit inlet valves etc etc) beyond that it MUST be a ‘Control Module’ error or connections to it 😉

Do make sure you un-plug the machine totally from the supply before taking the back off

have checked everything martin i did micount it is 12 flashes then 8 second gap the 3 flashes …
any ideas??
if it is the module will i get a new eprom with it or do i need to use the old one ??

superdod i know this sounds obvious but have you turned it to an off position and then reselected a programme,just a thought SMARTIN

Just make sure you are counting at the correct position. Let the appliance do its thing with the initial load of flashes and once the timer knob starts motoring around start checking the flashes. You should get a number of flashes then a gap and then the same number of flashes again. ie in your case (?) 3 flashes, gap, 3 flashes, gap etc. It may be that the indication is the three flashes (from memory) thermistor fault . However, these are buggers to fix because indication flashes does not alway equate to fault. Backing up Martin, make sure that you check out valves, heater, pump (both blockages and electrically) burnt selector contacts, motor brushes for uneven wear (thanks Tony @ EMW on 01623 647537) and then if you still think you have a module fault have a chat with Tony (listed above) who does a cheap test on modules (or repair if required)> Good Luck.
