Participanti can anyone please help me my indesit w93 has gone mad one minute it was on a wash cycle and the next it starts to click around the programs. the off button is not working either. can anyone suggest what to do or where i can get the manual for it. the washing machine to 2years old. 😥 🙁

The indicator clicking round is a fault detection.
The light on the control panel should also flash a sequence after this happens, if you count the flashes between pauses and let us know, it may help identify the problem.

If you’ve got the count right, it’s an electronics problem. The small processor has been corrupted (eeprom) – possibly. None of these codes are actually definitive, so given that the computer board is an expensive component, I would seriously suggest getting some pro help.

Participanthow much do u think it would cost to get it repaired and would i be better to just get a new machine? i paid around £250 for the one i have now

Honest answer? For £280 you can buy the base model Bosch – a far superior appliance.
You may need the EEPROM changing, if the code is correct. I’ve never fitted one yet, so the computer board is a more likely candidate. They range from £70-£120, plus the VAT, so on a cheap machine it just isn’t cost effective.
Time to buy something decent.

Participantlol@ time to get somthing decent. thanks for all your help think i’ll get a new machine. think i’ll get the hammer out and try to fix it myself but don’t worry i’ll unplug it first lol. thanks again.
