    Whilst the washing machine works fine when it is on the tumble dryer it takes ages to dry and keeps coming up with an error message F-13, any ideas apart form send in the mechanics!

    F13 is a failure of the thermistor (or temperature sensor) on the dryer. Part required – Dave Conway will be able to help in the morning.

    If you are not confident in your own abilities, engineer time. Check in Directories for a local UKW engineer, or pop your post code up and someone will pick up on it.

    Whatever you do, pull the plug first.

    The error does indeed relate to a ‘Thermistor’ fault (Part No: C00080767) I would get an engineer to check it out for you. It may be blocked with fluff for example.

    You need to call in us experts 😉 It’s NOT a DIY fix ❗
