Indesit washing machine WIN 602 (EU)

Hello. Looking for help with what I think is an electronics problem. The machine turns on but won’t start any programme, no flashing leds just a steady red one below the start button.

Any leads/suggestions appreciated

You appear to be posting from Spain, that model is not sold in the UK so our technical information does not cover it sadly. 🙁

did look this machine up and it seems to have a brush motor. worn out brushes can cause machine not to start. Check the brushes are long enough to touch the armature

Thanks. I assume I’d access the motor by removing the back cover, yes?

since the brushes are facing the front of the machine i access them by tilting the machine back at 45 degrees against a wall and lie on the floor

as a quick test give each brush a sharp knock with a screw driver then try the machine. if it works then you need new brushes if it does not then you need to take brushes off to check them

Thanks for the tip. I tried the quick test but machine didn’t respond so I ruled out the brushes, as suggested. In the end a technician replaced a fried circuit board
