Had the common issue with the dial constantly turning but now the machine does not start at all.
Turn the dial to a wash cycle with or without the tumble dryer being selected, ensure the door is closed and press the start button. The light flashes and then turns solid red to indicate the cycle is about to start. I hear the click of the interlock but the pump does not seem to kick in (there is no sound). The dial does not move, the light stays solid red.
I have tried turning the dial to off, unplugging the machine, plugging back in turning to off again unplugging plugging back in and turning to spin nothing changes. It’s as if the pump doesn’t attempt to pump water out so the washing machine never starts a cycle. Same situation if I try a tumble dry.
There is power to the machine and I have changed the door interlock. I have removed the filter from the front of the machine and cleaned it. The pump has been tested and works so I am now without???
