Had the module to QER in June for a repair to damage at the bottom of the board near to the plastic four terminal block. It has now blown one of the edge connectors, the plug that fits onto CNF ( third up from bottom)on the board, a blue wire that goes direct to the On/Off switch, which itself is linked to the neutral at the terminal block. Any pointers as to the cause, motor, pump, heater etc all OK. door lock appears fine with no sign of internal short but I will change it just to be on the safe side.

Iadom – I don’t know whether this will be any use but i traced the wires on CNF to:-

    1 Pressure s/w (4P16 (red)
    2 Pump
    3 Pressure s/w (3P11 (2 blue) to mains filter Neutral & On/off switch
    4 Interlock (2MRN)
    5 Pump
    6 Heater (black)
    7 Interlock (3MRL)

(Note:- 5 & 6 are commoned on the module)

This was on a later IDC type module

It is contact 5 on CNF, a single blue wire that goes to on/off switch via pressure switch. It has completely melted the tag in the plug and the contact.

It appears that your contact 5 is my contact 3. This looks like the main Neutral on the m/c side of the on/off s/w as I traced it to the mains filter too.

Might it be worth checking the mains filter ?

It is contact 3 from the bottom up, I was counting from the other end until I saw the small number 1 on the board. sinlge blue wire to on/off switch, then onto mains filter.

Will check the filter, its one of those enclosed ones that includes the mains cable unfortunately.

Sounds to me like a simple case of a connection overheating because it was loose/of inadequate design. I’d think you would find it would work again if you can manage to create a better connection.
