ParticipantI have an Indesit WD12 which is doing the rotating dial thing.
I’ve switched it off and managed to get the washing (and a load of water) out.
How do I determine which error code it’s displaying?
I’ve set the dial to the dot, turned the machine off and back on again, and the main LED flashes twice, then a number of times rapidly, then back to slower flashes. Is the two flashes the error?
Thanks

No, you’ve reset the computer and cancelled the error code. Run the appliance again, when the dial starts clunking round count the pattern of the power light ie, 1234 pause repeat.
THEN cancel it………… 😀

OK, I’ve just set the machine off again on a short wash . . .

Just ran an empty short wash (number 8) and had no problems . . . wierd . . . does this mean I can put the Argos catalogue away?

See how you go…….
If you’re considering replacement, please use a local independent – you’ll get sound advice on choice and value.

Tried the machine again – the LED is flashing five times. Seems to me it’s not draining . . .

Possibly the pump is blocked then, have you checked the filter ?
F05 is pretty well covered here, if you use the search:

Then search for “F05” (without the quotes), that should help 😀

Checked the filter(?) at the front of the machine and there was a piece of black cord about 5″ long lurking right at the back. Removed it and everything is fine!
Thanks for your help, you’ve saved me a callout or even a new machine . . .
