Indesit wd12 no heat when drying

Hi,

My machine makes all the noises it has always made when tumbling, but doesn’t get hot anymore. The thermostat has been replaced but this made no difference, could anyone offer any advice please.

You need to get the machine checked out electrically, the stat, NTC, elements, wiring and to a lesser extent the controls themselves can all cause this fault.

A multimeter or suitable test equipment is required. If you do not have access to these, try the link at the bottom of this post. Plug out at all times when working on the machine.

I think my husband has a multimter, I’ll find out. Was hoping it would be something simple, my washing is building up! 😥
