    Hi, the dryer does not get hot, have taken the top off and had a look. The blower motor works, and the condenser isn’t blocked, but the 2 wires going to the circular thing between the motor and the heater element were black and sooty. Please help!

    The only way to ascertain the fault is by using the correct electrical test equipment on the various components, such as the element, stat, TOC, NTC etc, with the mains plug removed.
