Indesit WD12 UK constantly filling!

Hi, Hope someone can help. Have had the Indesit WD12 for around 5 years, with only ever one fault,(stretched belt that slipped off!). Now however, have a major problem. The machine seems to do everything that it should do, with the exception that the dryer light stays on, and the machine keeps filling with water. Would be extremely grateful for any suggestions or help. Thanks in anticipation, Chris.

A well known fault on these machines. Almost certainly a failure of the main control module, approx cost of module around the £85 mark also needs an eeprom at just over £20.00. If you set it to spin and it starts to fill then your module has borked.

To be honest five years out of one of these is darned good going these days, I had to condemn an 18 month old Indesit two weeks ago. 😥
