Indesit WD12 Washer Dryer makes gravelly sound

My washing machine has just been making a sound like it has gravel in it on a wash cycle. It is working – although I have turned it off, so no error codes to help me. What should i be checking?

If you open the door and spin the drum round by hand does it appear quiet and smooth? Is the noise on wash, rinse & spin or tumble drying cycle?

Have you checked the pump filter ( refer to your instruction book )

Thanks, there was a pebble in the pump, sounds fine now!
