I have an Indesit WD12S and the dryer seems to have packed up, it goes through the cycle but it seems to have no heat. Any idea what the problem could be heater element, or sensor?

Any idea guys and whats the easiest way to work it out?

    Any info much appreciated.

    Cheers

    David

Also can anyone tell me if the dryer element in the Indesit WD12S is the same as in the WD12SUK?

A WD12S is a WD12SUK. ( check the label on the back 😉 ) Several possible causes of no heat, most of which require the use of the correct electrical test equipment and the knowledge to use it.

Element, ntc, wiring breaks, blockages or fan motor faults causing ntc to fail, are the most common causes.

Please be sure to remove the mains plug if you intend to investigate yourself.

    Jim.
