    Please help, my missus is dryving me mad to sort this out..
    I have a Indesit WD12X and she has broken the door catch. I have taken off the lid to release the door catch from the inside (after disconecting from the power supply) but can’t seem to get it too release. I can feel somthing on the door switch that pulls back but the door just wont open. Could someone tell me is ther a knack to this? I don’t want to force anything and cause more expense.

    Whatever it is I will surley need a part and will be ordering from this site as it is fab compared to all the others I have spent an hour browsing!

    You may not be able to open the door because the door lock has failed in the closed position. In this circumstance, you have no choice but to break the lock from the inside and replace both components.
