indesit wde12 drum not spinning

hi all i have a 2 year old indesit wde12, the drum is not moving, sounds like the motor is spining ok, how do i check to see if the belt has come off?

any instructions greatfully received

Firstly,

:plug: UNPLUG THE MACHINE FROM THE POWER :zap:

…….then remove the back panel to check 😉

hi all, removed the rear panel, and saw belt was lying at the bottom, refitted and now all okay

Belts rarely if ever come off for no reason unless the machine was seriously overloaded or there’s a contributary cause.

See how it goes over the next couple of washes, keep the loads down though to a reasonable level 😉

ok i will come clean, the cause was a huge, heavy indian blanket 😉
