ParticipantI have a Indesit WDE12, the module has blown. Recieved a new module from EMW, fitted it to the machine, fitted a new pressure switch.
On starting the machine first a long delay before anything happens, then a click from the module, another shorter delay, then water enters, pump runs and blower motor runs, does nothing else but this. EMW tell me to check thermistors and carbon brushes, both seem ok, can anybody help please.April 26, 2007 at 6:17 pm #211927senseib

EMW told me the module had been programmed by them, there was an eeprom already fitted.

ah yes, this is the one where if it was produced before date code 10630 then you have to change both modules, sounds like the 2 boards are not communicating though

yes its year 4 month 02 date 11
so you should be ok with just the main board, unless the top one was damaged with the origional fault, if there is no life from the top display at all it could be wiring between the two, or duff top board, an eeprom fault should be displayed with an F09 (set-up error/eeprom) or F12 comunication error,April 26, 2007 at 7:18 pm #211935JOHN CLARKE

EMW first sent a board for WD12 instead of a WDE12 board, the WD12 board gave me a ful screen display then went to F12, communication fault, so I believe the top board was OK. EMW then sent the WDE12 board and I ended up with the explained fault.

hmm, if you’ve checked all the connections are good and the other one gave you F12, then it looks like a faulty board again 😥
