indesit wdg1295wg (no high spin)

hi all, this machine works ok till it gets to the final high spin! the speed buildsup to max stays there for 15secs,then back down to slow speed.then builds up and does the same. does this about 6 times then spin cycle(7) finishes.fitted new module, motor seems to be ok.any ideas would be appreciated

Probably the timer.

I’ve had several indesit/aristons with old type timers that have this symptom. It is the timer at fault although the sympton appears as if it the module or motor

Changed lots of these for same fault, usually module for no wash action, timer for no spin.

cheers guys, thanks for your answers, but thankfully the lady has seen sense and is going to buy a new one.(pity she could’nt wait till january for an ise machine. 😀 )
