It’s basically the same machine just a faster spin speed, so yes.

Just had the same fault code on WE16S, my husband managed to fish out a 10 pence piece and a breast pad !
Thanks for your advice, it saved us calling someone out.

Hi there, I’ve got a F-05 error message on my WE10 (came with the flat, been here a year, no manual, first time it’s gone wrong).
PLEASE tell me how I can debung the pump without calling an engineer. I’ve had a really bad week and could well do without the expense.
Go on, give us a clue. PLEASE ? 😳 😳
ok, for the record …….. google for a machine user guide that bears SOME resemblence to the one you’re working on, the principle appears to be the same. unplug ! prize a screwdriver underneath the lower plinth to pop it out. fiddle with the filter cover anti-clockwise for half an hour until you just manage to get to the right point and it will come out …. eventually.remove 2 x 5p, 1 x 1p, and one plastic cover for a food processor blade. reassemble. cross fingers, put through another cycle.
many thanks to the forum however, without whose help i wouldn’t have had a clue what the error message was to start with.
phew !
😀

With the way that the filter is constructed, it is entirely possible for the filter to become jammed by foreign bodies entering the pump chamber.
The correct method of draining the appliance is to lay the drainhose down into a washing up bowl and wait for the flow to stop. THEN, you can wrestle with the filter or remove and dismantle the pump without flooding the kitchen.
Power off, of course.

Thanks for the above giude 8)
I managed to follow it and fix my WE14 😀
I found one of those long skinny brown womens hair clips behind the ‘fan’ looking thing, behind the filter.

Just spend all afternoon mending our Indesit washing machine – our patience paid off cause what we found was a piece of what I can only describe as a small length of wire from one of my underwire bras!! It was stuck in the motor for the pump- but after a long search it was found. This has saved us a call out fee, the job and “+ VAT”. All I can say is thanks to this website we no doubt would have been as least £50 out of pocket. My advice is…… Don’t be afraid to “Have A Go and Try Your Best”! (Our classroom Motto,I work in a school).

Our motto is “Read the wash labels” 😉 .
Almost all underwired bras have a ‘handwash’ label on them. If you must put them in the washing machine, place them in an old pillowcase and secure the top with a couple of safety pins.Jim.

I also had error code F-05, it turns out I had a blockage in the waste pipe therefore the machine wasn’t draining. We unblocked the pipe and the machine is now fine. 😆
