My Indesit WE14 appears not starting it’s cycle (no fill or motor activity) although the time display shows a countdown.
The key/lock symbol on the display is not showing but the door lock is otherwise operating normally. Would this fault be due the door lock or somewhere else like the electronics board i.e. is the sense on the lock or the module?
For all other functions the button presses seem to get the correct on the display so they seem to be operating correctly.
I have inspected the cables and connectors and no significant damage or corrosion.
If it is the door lock can you suggest a supplier?

No flashing lights or error codes being displayed ?
Bit of an odd one this, it would point to the control PCB but knowing these machines anything can cause any number of problems.
Apart from the usual trouble shooters, an engineer would be your best bet to be honest, check repairs@ and the directories 😀

No codes or flashing lights everything displayed as normal except the key symbol.
