ParticipantHi, I hope someone can help me with my we16 washing machine
It has worked well for 4 years and now when you select a program it dose not fill or appear to start washing. It also said DOOR on the LCD a few times if that gives any clues, also it appears to go through the whole cycle but throws no error codes up
any help would be appreciated before calling a technician

THANKS FOR QUICK REPLY
I have just had door interlock switch off front door, I can see the plastic strip that is pushed to the left by the closed door to activate switch, but i can not see how it moves the small black lever on theend of the switch which activates it, could there be something broken off the housing
is it a switch assembly that i order from indesit? or switch and housing seperate

After a period of time they get “lazy” best option would be to change the lock.
Goto spares@ Im sure you will get sorted there.Greg

P/no C00011140 or C00085194 are suitable locks for this appliance. An email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk for prices and ordering.

I changed the door over but same problem
I decided to have a look at control PCB at back ond there is a big black burned out patch with a transistor blown and a track on PCB burnt through I know I will have to replace this but do you think for it to be blown like that it could be a motor etc aswell that has done it so scrap it?
