Indesit WE16S uk Error -H2O overfills with water

Hi, can anyone help me please! My indesit was displaying the message -H2O and overfilling with water+++. I checked the pump at the front and found a 5p piece in it. The message isn’t displaying now but it is still overfilling with water. Apparantly this error message dosn’t exist. Will i have to reset it ( i don’t know how to reset) or do i need to buy a pressure switch. Please help. thankyou, Cathie

h20 most certainly does exist, strangely it means there is no water getting into the machine, hence the H 2 O 😉

In your case the machine thinks there is no water getting in, hence the overfill.

Possible causes are blockages or tiny holes in the pipe to the pressure switch or indeed the switch itself.

Be sure to remove the mains plug if you intend to investigate further.

as above,,,UNPLUG,,,top off, right hand side find round pressure switch, black tube leading towards bottom of machine feel spongy rings if wet or just damp then there is a hole or holes in the rubber tube…REPLACE.
