It is about 8 years old and started doing this around 2/3 months ago. I have had a repair man look at it and he is completely baffled. No obvious faults apparent. Anyone out there able to help?. 😥 October 22, 2004 at 12:26 pm #118519 kwattKeymaster Overloading, worn clothes gaurd on the door seal, rough edge on the inner drum, there’s a few things it could be in all honesty. Are the tears like cuts, as in not frayed, or do they look ripped? K. October 22, 2004 at 12:45 pm #118520 adminKeymaster Re: Indesit WG 1285W Washer. More like pulled thread, then holes appear all over. Drum been checked, and guard appears O.K. October 22, 2004 at 2:12 pm #118521 Simon46Participant Re: Indesit WG 1285W Washer. Has an underwire from a bra been lost around that time? October 22, 2004 at 2:25 pm #118522 kwattKeymaster Yep, Id go with that Mary, Simon is right I think as I’ve seen it before as well. A bra wire occasionally will pop up through one of the holes in the drum and its just enough to make a little hole. K. October 22, 2004 at 3:01 pm #118523 adminKeymaster Re: Indesit WG 1285W Washer. I did have that problem, was about 18 months ago tho’. The engineer found it and I thought that was the end of the problem!.
