Hi, hope someone can help me, I have an Indesit WG1130T and it runs just fine until the spin cycle, it appears to spin ok but when the cycle is finished the clothes are still very wet and there is and inch or so of water at the bottom that won’t drain away. Any help with this would be appreciated as my hands are getting sore from hand wringing 🙄 . Apologies in advance if this is embarrassingly easy to fix.

Sounds like a partial blockage of some description. Does the machine drain off without the clothes in?

There may be a filter under the front kick cover, failing that it’s tip over and hoses off time.

    PULL THE PLUG FIRST!

    Good luck,

I pulled the machine right out and it spun and drained successfully, looks like it was just a kink in the wastepipe 😳 , I knew it would be something embarrassingly easy. Thanks anyroad.

Hi, I have the same washing machine. Can you tell me (as you are looking at the back of the machine) which side the hot pipe is on and which side the cold should be?
    Ta!

From memory I think it’s the cold nearest the outside of the machine.

Why they aren’t marked on some Indesit models is beyond me frankly 🙄

Once you’ve connected the hoses, put the machine on the final rinse and spin setting, it should only then take cold water, you can check by opening the dispenser drawer slightly, if hot water is coming in then they are the wrong way round.

Don’t put any washing in though until you are sure-just in case 😉

    Dave.
