    Re: Indesit WG1130T

On my machine, a couple of times, the machine has stopped half way through a cycle, with water still in the drum. On opening the circular opening at the bottom right hand side of the machine, I have found that the plastic fan type thing has come away from what I presume is the pump. After pushing back on (the second time pushing harder) the problem seems to have stopped

    Paulnic,

From what you have told us, very soon you will need a new pump as you are simply relocating the impellor. When that time finally happens, please give us the FULL model number (on the back) of your machine, so we can sort you out a replacement(there are 3 versions of pump fitted to that range) 😉

Thanks very much for this post – extremely helpful. I’d just been down to Curry’s, selected the new model I liked (cost £450) then thought I’d come back and check the internet for a solution for the washing machine problem we have (drain pump failure). Followed the advice and… no need to spend £450! Fantastic! What was the obstruction..? A metal shirt collar-stiffener!
